The SYNU Platform
Introduction
The SYNU Platform is a decentralized hub dedicated to upholding the rights of millions of stateless Rohingya. It creates a vibrant ecosystem that rewards participation, preserves cultural heritage, and strengthens both identity and education. By bridging access to essential services, SYNU empowers the community to reclaim dignity and opportunity.
The Problem
- Over 3.5 million Rohingya live in stateless limbo, often lacking legal identity, documentation, or access to basic rights.
- Generations born in displacement face barriers to education, healthcare, employment, and social inclusion.
- They are vulnerable to poverty, inequality, exclusion, and abuses due to invisibility.
Vision
- To restore identity, dignity, and opportunity to stateless Rohingya through digital inclusion, education, and economic participation.
Mission
- Establish a trusted digital identity system
- Create an ecosystem of services (education, health, archival heritage, financial access)
- Use rewards and token incentives to involve the community
- Promote transparent, equitable governance
Platform Overview
The SYNU Platform is designed as a holistic digital ecosystem for the stateless Rohingya, built on four interconnected pillars that reinforce one another:
- Rohingya Heritage : Digital repository for the community’s history, culture, and traditions
- Decentralized Identity : Community-verified secure and verifiable Identities
- Education and Skills: Learning opportunities, capacity building and verifiable credentials
- Community Exchange : Offering financial tools and resources for community sustainability.
What is R-Coin / Token Utility
R-Coin SYNU (ticker: RCO) is the community token fueling the SYNU ecosystem. It provides incentives, access, and a medium for participation. Key functions of R-Coin include:
- Rewarding users for contributions: cultural preservation, educational modules, community services.
- Facilitating access to services: health, microinsurance, microfinance, education.
- Helping execute transparent aid distribution through partner NGOs.
- Acting as universal basic income (UBI) for verified users to support essentials.
- Enabling governance: staking, voting, direction of community priorities.

Governance & Security
SYNU is secured and directed through transparent, community-driven mechanisms:
- Shared Control: Treasury, minting, and vesting use multi-signature wallets until full DAO launch.
- Community Verification: R-ID uses on-chain proofs plus peer validation to prevent duplicates and protect privacy.
- Collective Memory Protection: Heritage archive entries are stored immutably and reviewed by the community to preserve authenticity.
- Transparent Oversight: Vesting, token flows, and governance actions are enforced and visible on-chain, with independent audits.
These measures keep the platform secure while giving the Rohingya community direct agency over their identity, resources, and history.
Impact
By combining identity, rewards, education and inclusion, the SYNU Platform aims to:
- Give Rohingya people visibility and agency
- Create pathways out of poverty through skills and economic tools
- Preserve cultural memory and heritage
- Improve access to services such as health, finance, education
